Rok Dolenc has extensive experience both in the Slovenian government administration and in the non-governmental sector that provides him a unique perspective and in-depth knowledge of public policy and political processes.
An expert in energy and sustainability topics, Rok drafted legislation at the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy and was part of the Slovenian delegation to the UN Climate Change Conference. He garnered further international experience in these fields through his work at the European Parliament, where he closely followed the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, contributing to a broader understanding of the complexities surrounding sustainability policies.
Rok is also a seasoned figure in the youth sector, having held several leadership roles over the past decade, including the position of President of the Assembly of the Student Organization of the University of Ljubljana.
